Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Procurement to support procurement operations for MEP and construction projects, ensuring the timely sourcing of materials, supplier management, and cost-effective procurement solutions. This is a full-time position based in Qatar.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 15 years of procurement experience within MEP and construction projects

• Proven experience sourcing MEP materials and managing supplier relationships

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and purchasing activities

• Experience supporting project teams with material planning and procurement requirements

• GCC/Qatar experience is highly preferred

  
  

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Expertise in procuring MEP and construction materials while ensuring quality and cost efficiency

• Capable of sourcing suppliers, evaluating quotations, and negotiating commercial terms

• Adept at coordinating with project teams to forecast material requirements and delivery schedules

• Proficiency in preparing purchase orders, procurement reports, and maintaining accurate documentation

• Effective supplier performance management with a focus on timely deliveries and service quality

• Strong commercial awareness to support cost control and procurement budgeting

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities
