Job Summary: The Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems and equipment. The role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) electrical systems.

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, switchgear, transformers, motors, generators, and control panels.

• Monitor electrical systems to identify faults and potential hazards.

• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, and related electrical components.

• Conduct routine testing and calibration of electrical equipment.

• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.

• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other maintenance staff during repairs and projects.

• Support commissioning and startup activities for new electrical installations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance of LV and HV systems.

• Experience with transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and motor control centers

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations.

• Ability to use electrical testing instruments and diagnostic tools.
