Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cranes for lifting, loading/unloading, and personnel transfer activities at offshore/onshore oil & gas sites in compliance with Qatar Energey and company safety standards. Operate cranes ranging from 5Tons to 50 Tons safely and efficiently Perform lifting activities as per approved lifting plans and site procedures Follow standard hand signals and communication procedures during operations Conduct daily equipment inspection and basic maintenance checks Ensure compliance with Qatar Energey safety regulations, PTW, and HSE requirements Support personnel transfer operations where applicable Report equipment defects, unsafe conditions, and operational issues immediately Maintain a clean and safe working environment offshore Strictly comply with HSE policies and offshore safety procedures Ensure compliance with HSE and operational safety standards Coordinate with project and operations teams for smooth workflow Ensure quality and integrity for safe offshore operations

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 21 years of age Minimum primary school education or equivalent At least 5 years of experience as Crane Operator in offshore/onshore oil & gas industry Minimum 3 years of experience operating similar crane types (5T–50T) Valid UAE Heavy Equipment/Crane Operator License Qatar Energey-approved Crane Operator certification mandatory Personnel Transfer certification required Good English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) Physically fit with good eyesight, hearing, and reflexes Familiar with crane manufacturer operation manuals and basic maintenance Strong knowledge of lifting operations and standard hand signals
