Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Psychiatrist, based in Doha, Qatar. The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, diagnose and treat mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients. They will work with individuals, families, and groups to promote mental wellness, with a special focus on adolescent and adult patients. The role involves regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients.
Qualifications Expertise in Psychiatry and Psychiatric Care, with strong diagnostic and treatment planning abilities Specialized knowledge and experience in Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health care Proficiency in general medical practices related to mental and emotional well-being Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate cultural competency Medical degree with a specialization in Psychiatry and a valid medical license Board certification or equivalent in Psychiatry Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as Arabic is advantageous
