Internal Communication:
• Reporting to the Assistant Manager
• Communicate with assistant managers/welding supervisor/ engineers/analysts/ foreman/ equipment controller/ technicians/workers/ corp. staffs/ within the Dept. & operation units.
• HSSE/QA Team
Purpose:
For all activities
Workshop activities: monitoring, control, and optimization.
Work with the relevant foreman’s to develop a better workplace and section in terms of safety and quality.
External Communication:
With other business units/clients/workshops/dealers/suppliers/etc.
Purpose:
To coordinate and follow up on requests for services

Accountability:
Accountable to their line manager and direct reports so far as is reasonably practical to ensure:
• a safe place or work;
• safe systems of work;
• safe plant & equipment;
• Provision of information and training.
Responsibility:
Responsible for:
His/her personal safety and that of all personnel under his/her authority, including others who may be affected by the company's activities. In particular to:
• Conduct risk assessments on activities within their department ensuring that the methods and safe systems of work are safe and implemented.
• Ensure all employees and contractors under their control are competent to undertake their duties;
• Ensure all accidents, incidents, and near misses are reported and investigated;
• Promote good behaviours and set a personal example with regard to occupational health and safety matters.
Authority:
Managers/Supervisors have the authority to stop work when health and safety is unsafe or being compromised.
Responsibilities:
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate the workforce and equipment working in Fabrication.
• Identify training and request training for workers to support other production sections.
• Ensure scheduled activities are executed on time, as per quality Standards and with the highest customer satisfaction
• Manage and coordinate workshop facilities, daily maintenance and upgrade, and/or development
• Search for best spare parts, negotiate prices, conduct price comparisons, and raise requests with the Procurement dept. etc.
• Responsible forr reviewing all the fabrication documentss (Shop drawings, ….etc)
• Act as a coach to subordinates, identify their training and career development, recommend training courses, and follow up their personnel records such as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leaves, and absenteeism;
• Implement and actively enforce compliance with work processes to ensure the health and safety of employees and the protection of the environment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education & Professional Qualification:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant engineering field.
Professional Experience:
3-5 years of experience in controlling operations relating to critical works and time schedules.
Geographic Experience:
Exposure to Oil&gas related procedures and requirements is desirable.
Computer Skills:
MS Office, ERP System, Autocad, MS Project, and any 3d Modeling software.
Language Skills:
English, Arabic (desirable)
Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:
Strong leadership and team management abilities
