Overview of the Role
The Service Advisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our commercial vehicle service center. As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, supporting revenue growth, and coordinating service activities in a fast paced, customer centric environment. This role requires strong technical understanding, customer handling skills, and close collaboration with Service Managers, technicians, and the parts team.
What You Will Do
Customer Service & Communication
• Greet customers, understand their concerns, and accurately document vehicle issues.
• Clearly explain service options, cost estimates, and expected timelines.
• Provide timely updates on repair progress and handle inquiries professionally.
• Manage customer complaints with tact and efficiency.
Service Revenue Targets
• Achieve assigned service and parts revenue targets.
• Promote value-added services such as preventive maintenance and service contracts.
• Drive awareness of promotions and special offers.
• Monitor revenue trends and adjust actions to meet business objectives.
Service Coordination & Scheduling
• Schedule maintenance and repair appointments for commercial vehicles.
• Prioritize work orders based on urgency and resource availability.
• Coordinate effectively with technicians and the parts department to ensure timely job completion.
• Track customer payments and ensure timely follow-up.
Technical & Administrative Duties
• Document service requests, repair history, and customer concerns with accuracy.
• Prepare transparent cost estimates for labor and parts.
• Verify work orders prior to billing and ensure timely invoicing.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.

What Equips You for the Role
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in automotive or equipment spare parts, preferably within Heavy Commercial Vehicles, industrial products, or Construction Equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline, or equivalent qualifications.
