A leading Construction Project is hiring for Mechanical Technician (Immediate / Short notice preferred)
Qualification:ITI in Mechanical trade or equivalent. Basic English, Hindi communication for site instructions and coordination. Hands-on familiarity with equipment installation, basic alignment practices, bolting/torquing discipline, and piping erection. Ability to interpret installation drawings and follow supervisor instructions precisely. Good workmanship standards for industrial installation. Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in industrial mechanical installation works (WWTP/STP/process/utility plants preferred).
Responsibilities:Carry out installation of rotary and static equipment: pumps, mixers, blowers, compressors, tanks, skids, valves and packages under supervisor guidance. Perform equipment setting, leveling, shim checks, baseplate preparation, grouting support, and coupling alignment assistance. Execute piping erection works - spool installation, flange/gasket installation, bolt tightening, pipe supports fixing, slope/level checks, and minor adjustments. Assist QA/QC activities: punch point closure, installation checklist completion, torque/alignment record support. Assist in pressure testing / hydrotesting preparation activities: system line checks, reinstatement, flushing support, and leak rectification support. Follow HSE requirements: PTW, toolbox talks, PPE, safe lifting practices, housekeeping, and safe use of power tools. Ensure proper protection of installed equipment and completed works (temporary covers, cleanliness, preservation basics).
