We are looking for an experienced and driven IT Sales Manager to lead our sales function and drive business growth. This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on customer engagement and a strong understanding of IT solutions.


Role Overview

As an IT Sales Manager, you will lead the sales team, define and execute sales strategies, and actively contribute to closing key deals. You will work closely with customers to understand their technical and business needs, providing tailored IT solutions while ensuring long-term client satisfaction.

This role requires strong leadership skills, deep market knowledge, and the ability to translate complex technical challenges into effective business solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Set sales targets, define performance plans, and maintain high sales standards
  • Develop and optimize sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients
  • Visit customer locations to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with clients
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Develop a scalable sales process and ensure consistent team adherence
  • Plan and lead weekly sales meetings and performance reviews
  • Track sales metrics, analyze performance, and report to executive leadership
  • Maintain accurate documentation and control of sales targets and achievements
  • Resolve escalated customer issues related to sales and service
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure customer success
  • Represent the company at marketing events, conferences, and trade shows

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT sales or a related role
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions and complex technical concepts
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Valid driving license
  • Strong awareness and understanding of the Qatar market
