Role Snapshot
We are a leading authorized automotive dealership seeking a senior Head of Product & Planning to own product strategy, market planning, and commercial alignment between the dealership and the manufacturer.
This role sits at the intersection of OEM coordination and dealer execution — translating factory strategy into profitable, market-ready decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product and model mix planning in coordination with the manufacturer
- Own pricing strategy, margin optimization, and volume planning at dealer level
- Manage new model introductions, facelifts, and discontinuations
- Conduct market, competitor, and feature benchmarking
- Align product plans with sales targets, inventory strategy, and demand forecasts
- Act as the primary dealer interface with OEM product and planning teams
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Aftersales, Finance, and Supply Chain
- Drive profitability, stock health, and lifecycle performance across the portfolio
Skills
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 8–12+ years’ experience in automotive product planning / product management
- Strong background with an authorized dealership or distributor
- Hands-on experience coordinating with OEM regional or global teams
- Solid understanding of dealer P&L, pricing, margins, and inventory planning
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus
