Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fiberglass lamination for boat hulls, decks, stringers, and structural parts
• Work with materials including fiberglass mat, woven roving, biaxial fabrics, gelcoat, resin, and core materials
• Apply hand lay-up, spray-up, and vacuum-assisted lamination methods as required
• Prepare molds, apply release agents, gelcoat, and laminates accurately
• Install cores, reinforcements, bulkheads, and stringers
• Ensure laminate thickness, fiber orientation, and resin ratios meet specifications
• Repair defects such as air bubbles, dry spots, delamination, and surface imperfections
• Follow technical drawings, lamination schedules, and production instructions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Comply with safety procedures related to chemicals, resins, and tools

Skills

• Proven experience as a fiberglass laminator in boat or composite manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of fiberglass materials, resins, and lamination techniques
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and lamination plans
• Experience with marine hull construction is highly preferred
• Good attention to detail and workmanship quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment
