Oryx Veterinary Center is looking for a highly experienced Senior Veterinarian to join our growing and dynamic team. This role is ideal for a compassionate, confident, and skilled professional who excels in both small pets and exotic species.

As a Senior Veterinarian, you will play a key role in providing high-quality medical care, performing advanced clinical procedures, guiding junior staff, and ensuring exceptional client communication. You will work in a modern, well-equipped facility with a supportive team dedicated to delivering the best care to every patient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment plans for pets and exotic animals.
• Conduct advanced surgical procedures and oversee pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Lead and mentor junior veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
• Manage critical care cases with strong decision-making and clinical confidence.
• Interpret laboratory, radiology, and ultrasound findings accurately.
• Ensure excellent client communication, offering guidance and education on pet health and wellness.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and medical protocols across the clinic.
• Collaborate with the management team to improve medical services and workflow efficiency.

Skills

• Minimum 10 years of proven veterinary experience in clinical practice.
• Qatar veterinary license preferred
• Strong expertise in diagnostics, soft-tissue surgery, and emergency/critical care.
• Experience in exotic pet medicine is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and build a positive team culture.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
