We are seeking a skilled Laminator with strong experience in GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) piping for Oil & Gas or industrial plant projects. The ideal candidate must hold a valid FPI Lamination Certificate and be able to requalify under the project recipe with FPI as required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform lamination and repair work on GRP pipes, fittings, and joints in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
• Understand and follow the FPI lamination process and project recipe (mandatory).
• Prepare surfaces, mix resin systems, and apply layers as per specifications.
• Ensure joint integrity, proper curing, and dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct lamination works for fittings, flanges, miter joints, and repair sections.
• Coordinate with supervisors and QA/QC teams to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.

Skills

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in GRP lamination in Oil & Gas or industrial projects.
• Must hold a valid FPI Lamination Certificate (mandatory).
• Ability to requalify under project recipe with FPI.
• Strong understanding of lamination materials, resin systems, and application techniques.
• Good understanding of safety and quality standards in lamination activities.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet tight project schedules.

Education:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical or related trade.
