1. Food Preparation & Cooking:

  • Assist in preparing and cooking food items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
  • Maintain portion control and minimize waste.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the highest quality of food.
  • Ensure that food is cooked in a timely manner and meets quality standards.

2. Cleaning & Maintenance:

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils as needed (if applicable).
  • Properly dispose of trash and recyclables.
  • Ensure that food storage areas are organized and hygienic.
  • Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and floors throughout the shift.

3. Stocking & Organization:

  • Stock supplies and ingredients as they are delivered.
  • Organize food storage areas, ensuring ingredients are labeled, dated, and stored properly.
  • Keep track of inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low.

4. Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to all local health and safety regulations.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Keep work areas sanitized and safe to prevent accidents or injuries.

5. Team Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with kitchen staff and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Communicate clearly with other team members regarding food preparation, cooking times, and kitchen needs.
