Linum Consult’s client is a major international company currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer with a background in marine engineering works to be based in their Doha office. RESPONSIBILITIES • Leading the review, coordination, and integration of marine engineering deliverables (jetties, quay walls, revetments, breakwaters, dredging, marine pipelines) • Reviewing and accepting technical specifications for all marine systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements and international standards • Participating in the review and technical evaluation of bids for marine works and equipment, ensuring alignment with project requirements • Acting as the focal point for marine engineering interfaces with civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and product handling systems • Participating in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and 3D model reviews for the marine scope, ensuring all technical and safety risks are identified and mitigated • Evaluating the technical impacts of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and supporting root cause analysis and corrective action planning

PROFILE • Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or Marine Engineering, with a professional certification • At least 10 years’ experience in similar roles in large companies, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working on major projects • Good understanding of the marine engineering industry, with experience of working on jetties, quay walls, revetments, breakwaters, dredging, marine pipelines, etc. • Fluent in English and preferably Arabic as well • Good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture & working environment APPLICATION PROCESS If you feel that you have the right background of experience to take up this challenging position, then please formally submit your CV along with your current financial package details for the attention of Francis Ryan to [Click to show email] If your application has been successful, then we will contact you within 72hrs.
