Structural Fabricator -LONG TERM

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols to fabricate metal components for construction, industrial, or commercial projects.
  • Fabricate and assemble steel, stainless steel, and other metal components, including beams, columns, and trusses.
  • Cut, shape, and weld metal parts using a variety of tools, such as saws, shears, grinders, and cutting torches.
  • Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, cranes, and overhead hoists, to move and position materials.
  • Ensure that all fabrication meets project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with safety standards.


Skills

Requirements:


  • Certification in welding or metal fabrication
  • Experience with fabrication tools and equipment (e.g., grinders, saws, shears, cutting torches, drills).
  • Ability to measure, cut, and shape metal components accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail, with an emphasis on quality and safety.
  • Ability to work in various conditions (e.g., confined spaces, heights, outdoor work environments).
