We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various machinery involved in the full water bottling production cycle—from water filtration, PET bottle manufacturing, cleaning, labeling, packaging, and final product handling. This role is essential in ensuring smooth production flow, minimal downtime, and optimal efficiency.
✅ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery used in water purification, bottle production, filling, capping, labeling, and packaging.
✅ Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant including water intakes, pipes, Membranes, water storage tanks, chemical treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps and valves.
✅ Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in all production stages.
✅ Conduct routine inspections and calibrations to ensure machine performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.
✅ Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs.
✅ Replace and repair machine components such as motors, belts, sensors, bearings, hydraulic and pneumatic parts.
✅ Work closely with production teams to optimize machine performance and reduce downtime.
✅ Maintain detailed maintenance records, including repair history, inspections, and part replacements.
✅ Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and other industry quality and safety standards.
✅ Coordinate with external vendors for spare parts procurement and major equipment repairs.
Skills
Requirements:
- Technical Diploma or Certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in machine maintenance within the water bottling, beverage, or food production industry.
- Hands-on experience with OPP labeling machines (NDS Makina or similar), PET bottle manufacturing equipment, water filtration systems, and high-speed packaging machinery.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting (control panels, motors, PLCs, sensors) and mechanical repairs (gear systems, conveyors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems).
- Knowledge of PLC-based automation systems (basic troubleshooting and diagnostics).
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long hours, and work in an industrial setting.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Skills):
- Experience with bottle molding machines, shrink wrap applicators, and automated filling/capping systems.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills for minor machine modifications.
- Knowledge of industrial water filtration systems and food-grade piping maintenance.
