In this pivotal role, you will lead the sales and event planning functions, ensuring seamless execution of private and corporate bookings, while promoting Nusr-Et as the ultimate event destination. What You’ll Do: Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract high-profile events and clients, including private dining and corporate partnerships.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities, conduct outreach, and maintain a steady pipeline of leads.
- Build relationships with VIP clients, corporate entities, and event organizers to drive repeat business and maximize revenue.
Event Planning & Execution:
- Plan, organize, and oversee events from concept to execution, including private dining, social gatherings, and corporate functions.
- Customize event packages, menus, and experiences to exceed client expectations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure flawless delivery of events, maintaining Nusr-Et's premium standards.
Community Engagement & Partnerships:
- Develop strong connections with local businesses, organizations, and influencers to expand the restaurant’s reach.
- Understand local trends and preferences to design events tailored to Doha’s unique market, blending cultural richness with luxury appeal.
Operational Excellence:
- Manage event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining top-tier quality.
- Provide detailed post-event analysis and feedback, continually refining the event experience.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and innovative practices to keep Nusr-Et at the forefront of the hospitality industry.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 6–10 years of experience in events and sales management within the hospitality or luxury dining sector, ideally in Qatar or the GCC.
- Skills: Strong sales acumen, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Doha’s luxury dining scene, cultural nuances, and local market trends.
- Creativity: A flair for designing unique events that elevate the guest experience.
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on client and event requirements.
- Education: A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Language: Proficiency in English and Arabic (both verbal and written) is mandatory to engage effectively with diverse clients and the local community.
