Procurement Officer (Firefighting & Fire Alarm Experience Preferred)- Bilingual

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, evaluating suppliers, and placing purchase orders.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
  • Maintain and update procurement records and supplier databases.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and potential suppliers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support project requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in Qatar.
  • Proven experience with firefighting and fire alarm systems is a significant advantage.
  • Strong skills in purchase orders, procurement processes, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic (preferred) to effectively communicate with local suppliers.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
