Procurement Officer (Firefighting & Fire Alarm Experience Preferred)- Bilingual
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, evaluating suppliers, and placing purchase orders.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain and update procurement records and supplier databases.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and potential suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in Qatar.
- Proven experience with firefighting and fire alarm systems is a significant advantage.
- Strong skills in purchase orders, procurement processes, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Fluent in Arabic (preferred) to effectively communicate with local suppliers.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
