Job Summary

Along with the AGM, driving profitability of Wholesale Banking through constant product profitability and service monitoring, cross sell, ensure effective controls and generate incremental revenue for the SBU and CB.

Drive business performance ;

  • Develop, institutionalize, monitor and ensure booking of all revenue streams and identification of the areas of revenue leakage
  • Constantly monitor metrics at segment, product, sector levels to identify opportunities and work with stakeholders to harness incremental income
  • Work closely with all Product Heads and stakeholders for continuous improvement
  • Monitor competition and provide regular reports in close conjunction with marketing teams
  • Communicate plans, actual performance, trends to key stakeholders to identify actual vs target deviations
  • Work with business to identify variance mitigation actions and tracking
  • Day to day liaison with the business and other key stakeholders on business performance and analytics issues and projects
  • Lead and/or support ad hoc profit improvement initiatives
  • Any other requirements for analytics, monitoring and automation of revenue initiatives

Improve alignment of team service and products with business needs :

  • Establish regular dialogue with business heads, relationship managers and other Bank’s stakeholders and be well networked into various aspects of the business
  • Establish understanding of business requirements and coordinate delivery of products and service by the relevant teams

Measures Of Success

  • Incremental revenue booking – WB products and cross sell
  • Improve quantity and quality of MI (in conjunction with relevant teams) provided to the business, including, but not limited to:
  • Respected by business and other stakeholders as a value-adding support

Adherence to internal procedures and achieving satisfactory audit rating. An eye for detail, efficiency, 100% accuracy and timely delivery of tasks is extremely critical to the role

Qualification & Experiences

  • Strong corporate and retail banking product skills (3 years minimum).
  • Strong financial skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, preferably in English and Arabic
  • Strong computer skills i.e. MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in related areas, preferably banking experience
  • Creativity, Planning & Organizing
  • Problem Solving and Analysis
  • Teamwork & Coordination
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Post Graduate Degree (minimum)

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in Business-related major
