Manager Partner Revenue Optimization- Brisbane, Australia

We are recruiting for Manager Partner Revenue Optimization for Brisbane, Australia.

The selected candidate will responsible for the management of American airlines joint business revenue optimization by working with the American airline’s revenue management teams and executives. Responsible to implement strategic direction and planning of revenue management pricing and inventory actions as well as quality assurance through QR Revenue Management teams. Work with American Airlines and its Revenue Management teams to provide leadership and develop solutions to enhance revenue delivery and meet revenue objectives and KPIs including Joint Business RASK.

Accountabilities:

  • Establish joint business revenue management objectives with American airline partner and prioritize strategic alignment between airline partner and QR Revenue Management teams to support overall organization objectives.
  • Responsible for developing and leading pricing strategies to meet joint business revenue targets, ensuring the right price products and distributed based on understanding of price elasticity, fare granularity in public and private environments.
  • Determine strategies to optimize revenue production of US POS markets, including beyond US streams or capitalize on joint business opportunities.
  • Act as key interface, consulting with QR Revenue Management regional teams to develop and align pricing, distribution and inventory availability strategies for the joint businesses.
  • Develop constructive and collaborative relationship with other areas of the joint business and support the vision to deliver world class customer experience internally and externally.
  • Manage RM decision in DFW pertaining to the strategy, pricing, inventory and competitive sources on behalf of Qatar Airways.
  • Lead the identification of market specific seasonal holidays and special events through collaboration with the QR RM Market Operations and CBI analytical team, to distinguish and fully exploit peak revenue generating opportunities for the joint business.
  • Implement both proactive and reactive tactical revenue pricing actions using appropriate controls based on jointly agreed principles to ensure joint business strategies are market competitive.
  • Conduct appropriate performance assessments on joint business products and forecast on a daily, weekly, monthly or seasonal frequency, to recommend and implement adjustments to tactics affecting pricing and availability levers.
  • Create a structured communication platform with join business and all relevant stakeholders, ensuring the team is appropriately informed at all time on revenue reports and initiatives.
  • Gathering insights from joint teams to formulate regular, concise reports and recommendations for senior management to drive decisions.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience.

·        Revenue Management experience in a global airline.

·        Experience in revenue management, pricing, finance or a related analytical field.

·        Project Management experience and experience in deploying advanced technology solutions.

·        Excellent understanding of airline economics, economics in general as well as sales and distribution (including systems).

·        Excellent understanding of Revenue Management, including pricing, inventory and distribution.

·        Strong revenue forecasting acumen at a market level.

·        Very good understanding of statistics, operations research, forecasting and optimization methods.
