Head of Digital Insights and Intelligence

About the role

In this role, you will lead the data strategy, analytics and insights for Qatar Airways' Digital department by driving analytics initiatives across digital products, digital marketing, customer experience and overall digital business performance. You will work at the strategic level, ensuring the alignment of data initiatives with business objectives, while having sufficient technical depth to make informed and complex decisions. In this role you will be tasked with developing and executing a data and insights strategy that leverages advanced analytics, data governance, and actionable insights to optimize performance across all digital channels and customer touchpoints.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement the overarching data analytics and insights strategy for the Digital department.
  • Define key OKRs and KPIs, creating a framework for data visualization and dashboards that provide visibility across the organization.
  • Lead the team in delivering advanced insights related to customer behavior, personalization and experience.
  • Guide development of customer behavioral analytics to identify key drivers of customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
  • Prioritize the backlog of initiatives related to digital products, customer experience and optimization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the analytics efforts to ensure personalized engagement with customers and alignment with the broader digital strategy.
  • Structure and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual reports that provide actionable insights from behavioral and transactional data.
  • Lead the team in developing advanced analytics solutions, including predictive modeling, optimization, and prescriptive analytics.
  • Provide regular insights into digital product performance, digital marketing efficacy, and customer behavior.
  • Oversee the governance of the data layer, ensuring the quality and integrity of all data used across the digital department.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize customer engagement, digital marketing, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data & Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in data analytics, with substantial experience leading teams in a digital business context
  • Technical proficiency with data analytics platforms such as Python, R, SAS, Tableau, and Power BI
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions and architectures such as Azure or Google Cloud
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities, with a proven ability to lead cross functional teams in data and analytics initiatives
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to nontechnical stakeholders
  • Expertise in data governance, data quality, and management practices
  • Ability to manage budgets and understand P&L management & impact
  • Experience with digital measurement, tracking methods and analysis
  • Ability to work with cross- functional and multi-cultural teams at all levels in a faced- paced working environment
