Sales Operations Coordinator

Qatar Airways (QR) have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Sales Operations Coordinator. 

Based in FLL, Florida, and remote based, you will be responsible for the execution of daily sales operations tasks, and you will deliver five-star service for internal sales teams and external trade partners to facilitate QR revenue generating sales activities. 

ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

Operational: 

• Adhere closely to Standard Operating Procedures for sales operations functions ensuring alignment to Qatar Airways (QR) global sales operations principles.

• Play a leading role in the team for executing sales operations activities including Reservations and Ticketing, Trade/Corporate Account support, Group Sales, Sales Support, Sales Systems, and Sales Administration.

• Deliver customer-friendly, value-added communications to external trade partners on QR-related matters such as campaigns, policy changes, fare revisions.

• Support the sales team in maintaining an up-to-date database of trade partners within the region. Provide line managers and regional management with regular reporting on key departmental performance metrics, outstanding issues.

• Assist our sales teams with Key Customers in face-to-face meetings and maintain accurate reporting, if possible, for our account managers across a portfolio of accounts.

• Mentor junior colleagues in the team and guide them in maintaining high standards of service delivery.

• Handle all sales operations activities including (but not limited to) reservations and ticketing, refunds, agency billing disputes, trade/corporate account support, group sales, sales support, sales systems, ARC disputes, ticketing reinstatements, ticketing-commission audits and supporting important clients with their travel arrangements.

• Oversee the processing of refunds and working closely with various departments to ensure all issues relating to ticketing audit are handled, maintenance of Galaxy, Sales Force and Trade portal platforms. 

• Execute and maintain filing of Trade incentives on quarterly, annually and/or as required i.e. Frontend, Backend, Tactical commissions, net fares

• Produce reports for relevant markets and share monthly performance reports.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU: 

Minimum 3 years of job-related experience in one or more of these fields: reservations/ticketing, sales support, tariffs, distribution, business analysis.

• Good knowledge of airline processes (e.g. Pricing/Distribution technology) and GDS systems.

• Problem-solving skills, efficiency-oriented mind set.

• Excellent presentation skills i.e. PPT; advanced and proficient on Excel programs i.e. Formulas, Pivot tables

• This is a newly created team and will suit an individual who is willing to be part of the build-up, sharing experiences and coming with ideas for improvements and efficiencies.
