About the Role:

H2S Safety Technician to support Daily operations activity. Assist in Airloop and Gas Detection System activities. Perform inspection, cleaning, servicing, reassembling, and testing tasks. Prepare operations reports as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

•Assist in Airloop and Gas Detection System Installation onshore and Offshore Rigs.

•Inspect all the Onboard Breathing Apparatus and Submit the report to operations Supervisor / Onboard Senior H2Stechnician.

•Check the Breathing Air Compressor and follow the preventive maintenance plan .

•Maintain daily contact with Company Man, reporting on status of equipment readiness, maintenance performed and drills or training completed that day.

•During activities that have a potential for an H2S release, provide continuous monitoring with H2S Mini Check Monitors and/or Detector Tubes.

•Ensure to Bump test the H2S Monitors and Gas Detection System.

•Conduct Gas Testing on Confined Space Entry.

•Attend Daily Operations Meeting to know operations updates.

•Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports.

•Perform inspection, cleaning, servicing, reassembling, and testing of shop equipment; SCBA’S, manifolds, regulators& hoses.

•Ensures that all Cascade Air Banks are charged and online

.•Ensures that all 5, 10 and/or 30 minutes SCBA’s (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) are functional and fully-charged.

•Performs scheduled air quality checks.

•Other relevant duties as assigned by direct manager.

• Education:
• Diploma
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years

• Certifications:
• H2S
• TBOSIET(OPITO) is preferred
