Lead Performance Reporting Analyst | Ground Services

About the role

Responsible for reporting and data analysis of the operational data within the Ground Services by using robust and actionable data to provide feedback on policy changes, to develop business changes and strategic plans to support the continuing growth of the organization. Will operate across different functions of GS. Responsible to manage the team of analysts against departmental objectives measure and track department performance and identify areas of improvement.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Design the delivery of reports including data extraction, evaluation, report design, analysis and quality control, with an objective of improving productivity and minimizing cost.
  • Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them.
  • Manage detailed analysis of operational data in order to produce performance metrics.
  • Design, build and present dashboard on key performance indicators for informed decision making and for monitoring performance. Present operational statistical data to achieve meaningful insight to Senior Management.
  • Ensure suitable steps are in place for improving performance of processes and hand over the procedure to relevant stake holders for further action.
  • Ensure effective feedback is sought from different sections within crew resources department and align the processes based on the feedback received for enhanced productivity
  • Identify and prioritize key systems development requirements that meet strategic objectives of the department.
  • Develops strong relationships with internal clients, IT technical staff and peers to define project goals, timelines and identifying and deploying resources to meet target completion dates.
  • Evaluate existing analytics and operational reports from usability, readability and performance point of view and provide recommendations of improvement.
  • Seek, understand and evaluate the future reporting requirements and data analysis strategy of Ground Services and advise the senior management regarding any relevant changes in strategy and information requirements for impact assessment.
  • Organize collaborations on policies, operational procedures and controls that cover areas relating management information reporting. Establish a process of appropriate configuration management and document control.
  • Apply effective concepts, technical principles, and theories of operational research and advanced analytics to provide the most accurate analysis and documentation of the relevant systems of components.
  • Determine and develop solutions to a wide range of issues related to the many separate data sources to integrate this varying data into a unified output and responsible for the resolution of defects or faults within the relevant systems.
  • Develop frameworks and methodologies for implementation of process improvement quality models to achieve agreed Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) and Safety Performance Indicator (SPIs).

Qualifications

About you

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Relevant College or University qualification
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language.
  • At least three years’ work experience in business development or analysis role, preferably at an airline
  • Highly developed planning, analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Strong understanding of commercial impacts and financial/ budgetary skills
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills
  • Advanced level of programming with programs such as Python, C, Java, etc..
  • Advanced level in applications such as Power BI, Tableou, Qlickview
