JOB TITLE:
Data Management Development Lead
We are seeking an experienced Data Management Development Lead to oversee the digital transformation and optimization of documentation and metadata. This role is crucial for ensuring data quality, seamless integration of systems, and fostering a culture of innovation. ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Digital Documentation and Metadata ManagementOversee the organization, recovery, and maintenance of metadata in technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and rules while integrating with digital tools such as iView and iTools.
- Lead the development of tools to improve document quality, metadata accuracy, and ease of access.
- System Development and OptimizationManage and enhance the iView platform, used by all employees to access over 350,000 documents.
- Develop interfaces between iView and other applications like SAP and 3D modeling software.
- Support the synchronization of MANASA Operation data with iView to ensure consistent document management.
- Digital Transformation and AutomationDrive the implementation of digital tools and automation to streamline project control processes.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with the company’s digital vision.
- Build dashboards and reporting tools for effective project status communication.
- HSE and Data QualityPromote a safety-first culture by ensuring high-quality documentation to mitigate HSE risks.
- Conduct regular quality checks on data to support automation and optimize reporting.
- Stakeholder CollaborationAct as the primary interface between the Engineering & Construction team and the Data team for application development.
- Support planning, document control, and cost control teams with tools and dashboards tailored to project needs.
Skills
- QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:15+ years of experience in document and data control within industrial project management.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale EPCIC projects or brownfield portfolios.
- Proficiency in digital tools like P6, Power BI, and SAP.
- Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) and risk management techniques.
- Ability to design and optimize structured data processes.
- Experience in developing KPIs and dashboards for reporting.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
