We're currently recruiting a Plant Manager.
Mission
Reporting to the Framework Manager (Deputy GM), you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the industrial plant, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. Your role involves overseeing production, maintenance, and personnel, with a focus on meeting operational targets and enhancing productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the industrial plant, including production, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Ensure that the plant operates efficiently and meets production targets and quality standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Manage and supervise plant personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance, engineering, and quality control, to optimize plant operations.
- Prepare and manage the plant’s operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including production reports, maintenance logs, and safety documentation.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- BSc, BEng, or BA in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 20 years of overall experience in industrial plant operations.
- At least 10 years in a plant management role.
- Strong leadership and management skills; expertise in industrial operations, production processes, and safety regulations; proficiency in operational planning and budgeting; knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
