Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and proper dispensing of medications in accordance with legal and professional standards.
  • Verify prescription information for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Provide detailed information to patients about the proper use, side effects, and potential interactions of prescribed medications.
  • Offer guidance on over-the-counter medications, dietary supplements, and other healthcare products.
  • Address patient concerns and questions related to medications.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Stay informed about new medications, treatments, and healthcare trends.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Actively participate in daily sales including Promotion sales, In-House product sales, Liquidation of near expiry products and etc.
  • Ensure to increase the sales of the pharmacy by encouraging the colleagues, sharing information about medicines, new products and giving proper direction in related issues.
  • Should have ability to maintain self-patience, identifying the customers need, communicating with customers and co-workers sympathetically and supportively, obeying the policies of the management, the pharmacy and licensing department.
  • Make sure to follow up the store requisition and appraising the buyer about new product inquiry, also maintain good relation with the buyers, store in-charge & transport coordinator for the daily basis of product availability.
  • Oversee cash transactions, insurance billing and give proper endorsement to the next duty pharmacist before leaving from duty.
  • Ensure to give proper response for the each mail and inform the other pharmacy staffs about the mail. Added to that should maintain the daily shift activity reports regularly and accurately.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree (B. Pharm) / degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
  • State pharmacy license.
  • Must have DHP LICENSE.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, pharmacology, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.

Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
