Warranty Recovery Specialist

About the role
You will be responsible to research, analyze and raise appropriate claims so that all warranty and guarantee benefits from Aircraft, Component, Modifications, Engine & APUs, Commitment Letters and Contractual claims as per the applicable Contracts and Agreement Terms and Conditions is acquired. To adjudicate claims with analysis from internal or external sources for claim closure within timeline target. Accumulate and provide data reporting for department KPls and ensure adherence to TPM processes and SOPs. Keeping a high standard claiming handling and suggest process improvements for departmental work efficiency.
Some of the tasks include: 
•    Analyzing failures of scheduled and unscheduled component removals, maintenance corrections, modifications of QTR fleet in order to raise applicable claims. e.g removals ex-Aircraft, Power Plants, Wheels and Brakes, Structural and components.

•    Gathering, consolidating and evaluating resources for successful warranty claims with details evaluated from documentations including shop findings, engineering documents quotes & invoices for repair, overhaul and modifications activities. 

•    Providing detailed arguments to Quality Assurance, Aircraft Maintenance, Cost Control and/or Legal Department with data and technical-commercial justifications to resolve outstanding claims, Technical Occurrence Reports, contract negotiations and warranty corrective actions.

•    Responsible for identifying areas for process improvement and suggesting and implementation of mitigation solutions accordingly.

•    Responsible for ensuring that the data held in the e-Warranty system is being correctly input and is accurate for the purpose of reporting and return of experience.

•    To ensure correct credit notes and cost avoidance reporting to aide yearly warranty budgeting and forecasting. 

•    To use digital tool for data analysis and reporting (Microsoft Office suite, Power Bi, Trax, Oracle)

Qualifications

About you
•    Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with minimum 4 years of job-related experience in Technical Aviation – Warranties environment.
•    Good understanding of contracts
•    Excellent negotiation skills
•    Excellent knowledge in MS office applications
•    Good English language communication skills
