Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare, review, and present financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct variance analysis to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

Budget Management:

  • Develop, monitor, and update annual budgets in collaboration with department heads.
  • Analyze budget forecasts and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations, financial policies, and internal controls.
  • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Accounts Management:

  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage cash flow and prepare forecasts to ensure liquidity.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
  • Provide financial insights to senior management and support strategic decision-making.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor junior finance staff to enhance team performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.


Skills

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or relevant accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modeling.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities for team management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Additional Skills:
