The Head of CEO Office is a pivotal role responsible for providing strategic support to the CEO and ensuring the efficient operation of the CEO’s office. This position involves managing executive communications, coordinating high-level meetings, and overseeing special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Assist the CEO in developing and implementing strategic initiatives. Provide analysis and recommendations on key business decisions. Ensure alignment of department strategies with organizational goals and oversee their timely execution.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage special projects and initiatives as directed by the CEO. Ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders. Draft communications, reports, and presentations on behalf of the CEO.
- Meeting Preparation: Prepare agendas, materials, and follow-up actions for meetings. Attend meetings with the CEO and ensure all action items are tracked and completed.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and workflows. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
- Advisory Role: Provide insights and advice on various business matters. Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the CEO and other executive team members to identify opportunities for partnership, growth, innovation, and operational excellence in accordance with the company strategy.
- Financial Management: Provide input on significant financial management policies and approaches. Support annual and client budget/planning process.
- Special Projects: Lead special projects and initiatives on behalf of the CEO, acting as an extension of the CEO’s office when needed.
- Executive Leadership: Advise CEO on strategic decisions and investments, and provide support to Executive Committee members and senior staff, as needed. Facilitate input from different internal/external stakeholders on firm strategy and direction.
Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Master’s Degree in the above fields’ is an advantage.
Experience:
- With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in the following roles: strategy consulting, financial advisory, private equity, investment management.
Technical Competencies:
- Robust analytical skills and data-driven problem-solving.
- Proficiency in report writing and preparation of presentation decks to suit various stakeholders.
- Strong command of data analysis and visualization Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent Arabic speaker is essential
