Job Purpose

  • To effectively target key Retailers/Wholesale/Institutional/B2B customers in the market and achieve expected sales result
  • To diligently discharge the cohesive responsibility of line-managing the sales/merchandiser team to accomplish individual and organization objectives of Sales, Distribution, Availability, Visibility, Market Share, Accounts Receivables, Line Management (training/coaching) and compliance of all SOP and HR Policies.


Key Dimensions and Related Job Results

  • To deliver targeted monthly Brand wise Volume/Value, Distribution & Visibility targets for team/territory
  • To achieve set KPIs on Distribution, Visibility (BDA implementation /or share of space as per market share & planograms) and Market Share
  • Track, measure, and feedback results continuously to team to improve coverage and productivity
  • SMART objective setting
  • Continuously evaluate competition brands and activities and feedback initiatives to stay ahead of them
  • Recruitment, training, and coaching, and completion of appraisals on time.
  • Implementation of all the NPI’s promotions, control and manage the trade returns and bad debts within agreed timeline
  • Manage all the trade spends within the limits and timelines. 75% time spend in trade, working with the team as well as independent trade audits to measure execution
  • Take swift action on new outlet openings and negotiate strong BDAs, 100% BDA compliance and implementation
  • Improve ROI of every investment and proactively participate in forecasting meetings, with initiatives to optimize inventory and related cost, evaluate competition activities, and participate and share all survey findings


Operating Environment

  • Job location might change based on business requirement. Job holder may be relocated to any outlet or department
  • The working environment is physically demanding of time with long working hours, working on holidays, & demands physical agility
  • Job is emotionally & psychologically demanding. Job holder may be pressurized from customer’s requirements, operational needs, employee relations, process compliance, government regulations & external relations.


Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience/Training/Knowledge

  • Graduation in Commerce or any Business-related course with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Sales and Distribution
  • MS Office (MS Excel & MS Word) and knowledge of ERP and SAP is a must
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English. Knowledge in Arabic is an advantage
  • With valid Qatar driving license is a must.
