About the Role
Strategically responsible for ensuring compliance of any regulatory, operational and developmental learning programs required for QAS Cargo that are identified, developed, organized and delivered effectively with adult learning techniques and learner centered approach to improve the individual's performance and productivity within the organization. This role involves strategic planning, managing, monitoring and organizing learning programs with the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains high standards to support learning environment.
- Designs and develops the training package including presentation: participant's book, exercise, written assessment, syllabus, lesson plan based on the best practice and adult learning principles and supports and supervise the team.
- Ensures all learning programs and training packages are up to date, accurate and presentable as per regulatory/legal requirements and SOP.
- Leads and implements the learning and development programs, projects and workshops within QR Group. Facilitates/delivers training in line with adult learning techniques and learner centered approach. Performs TNA (training need analysis) & assess for both business and participants to develop strategic plans and formulate the Training Matrix.
- Develops and maintains the Training Manual in line with SOP, regulatory and international requirements.
- Ensures 100% compliance of any regulatory, operational and developmental learning programs are covered for the organization to meet safety, security and quality objectives as well as to equip individuals to perform their tasks and/or improve the performance.
- Implements measures other than audits & surveys to ensure the effectiveness and quality of both learning programs & training packages and the instructors to meet the company & international standards and are maintained. Takes immediate corrective actions accordingly if/when required.
- Continuously follows up the cost and expenses against the budget.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
Qualifications
About you
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
- Certified Trainer, preferably from a reputable institute
- Valid IATA Dangerous Good Regulations Category 6 Certificate
- IATA Professional Skills for Dangerous Good Instructor Certificate
- Experience developing, delivering, managing Cargo related training programs
- Experience in Dangerous Good and Cargo Operations
- Experience in 70:20:10 Learning Model
- Experience in project and performance management
Preferred
- IATA Live Animal Regulations
- IATA Perishable Cargo Regulations
- Familiar with Cargo/Warehouse operational systems
- Any Civil Aviation Certification is an advantage
