Manager IFE & Connectivity Innovations Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity Manager to oversee the seamless integration and operation of entertainment systems and WiFi services onboard our flights. Your primary role will focus on user interface design, product integration, and personalization features, with specific expertise in managing seatback IFE systems and passenger WiFi services. Experience in customer managed services integration, is crucial for success in this role, while prior experience in the airline industry is considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

·       Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for IFE and connectivity solutions that aligns with the airline's broader business goals and passenger expectations.

·       Oversee the integration of personalized products and features to tailor the onboard experience to individual passenger preferences.

·       Manage the integration of the seatback IFE product and connected services, optimizing connectivity and performance for enhanced passenger satisfaction.

·       Effectively integrate managed services for inflight connectivity, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful operation and maintenance of entertainment and connectivity systems.

·       Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of IFE and connectivity products.

·       Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements to recommend and implement innovative solutions for inflight entertainment and connectivity.

·       Work closely with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary equipment and services, negotiating contracts and and service-level agreements to ensure optimal performance and value.

·       Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to maintain service excellence and reliability.

·       This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in user interface design, product integration, and managed services integration. The ideal candidate will bring valuable experience in the airline industry, contributing to the seamless operation and enhancement of our IFEC services.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Inflight Entertainment & Connectivity Team

·       Min. Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

·       8+ years of experience in overseeing the integration and operation of IFE and connectivity systems and services

·       Possess experience and/or expert level knowledge of integrating personalized products and features to tailor customer experience.

·       Previous OTT platform experience

·       Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.

·       Possess knowledge of network traffic management

·       Experience in agile ways of working.

·       Demonstrated experience as a people manager and meeting strict deadlines through cross functional collaboration.
