Job Summary
- The job requires a project management qualification, which is highly desirable.
- A degree or diploma in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is needed.
- The candidate should possess a Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 3 to 1 (Motor Ship) or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a shipyard is essential, including as head of any P&O section.
- The candidate should have at least 3-4 years of managerial experience as head of a P&O department.
- A total of 10 years of relevant working experience in Marine industry is needed.
- The candidate should have extensive knowledge in ship engines and various types of machining tools.
- The candidate should have experience in ship repair, conversion, new building, offshore, and onshore industry.
