Job Description
- To independently manage the Multi Displinary engineering and design team or hull and marine facilities
- To deliver Marine engineering maintenance within budget, schedule and quality
- Provide leadership to the Marine engineering team and be the single focal point In the Project organization all Issues related to Marine engineering
- A robust engineering execution platform for delivery or Detailed Engineering meeting all contractual requirements.
- Effective change Management
- Supervise all Marine discipline leads to ensure delivery of engineering design that complies with Company standards, Client standards, Class rules, applicable codes and
standard, Regulatory requirements, and the team works in accordance with the Company code of conduct
- Compliance with applicable Marine Industry Standards, Company standards, Client Standards, Class Society rules, regulatory requirements, Codes and Standards and
Company code of conduct
- Conduct Internal Marine engineering team meetings, meetings with Shipyard Engineering team and Third Party, participate in engineering meetings with the Enginering:
department and other external agencies, Marine engineering progress report, and effectively communicate both internally and externally.
- Clear and unambiguous communication both Internally and externally on Marine engineering Issues
- Motivate the Marine engineering team and Ship Yard team to perform, provide performance feedback, forecast and mange engineering resources on the project
- A high performing and motivated Marine engineering team and
- Develop Marine Engineering manning plan
- Effective cost control of Marine engineering expenses and to plan and organize the standard boat dry docking as per the Original equipment Manufacturer schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar capacity and Certificate in Marine Engineering.
- Market knowledge of related products.
- Very good understanding of English language with good communication abilities.
- Ability to manage a team of Technician, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Carpenter, Painter, Fiberglass.
- Capability to organize, plan and execute planned preventive maintenance schedules on a large Neet of boat
- Positive attitude or capability to carry out fault finding
