Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Planning Analyst at Sterling Restaurants W.L.L. located in Doha, Qatar. The Financial Planning Analyst will be responsible for tasks such as financial planning, budgeting & forecasting, financial modeling, and utilizing analytical skills to support the financial & operation functions of the company. If you’re a qualified CIMA/ACCA/CA with 4+ years of experience in management accounting and financial analysis, this opportunity is for you!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing financial models to project long-term growth and determine the impacting business factors.
  • Collaborating with department heads and management to prepare the company’s budget and forecasts.
  • Conducting variance analysis to compare budgeted figures against actuals, and providing actionable insights on discrepancies.
  • Performing quantitative analysis of operational and financial data to support decision-making.
  • Building and maintaining detailed financial reports that outline the company’s financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings.
  • Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinating with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations and financial reports for board meetings and executive teams.
  • Contributing to the strategic planning process by providing financial insights and analysis.
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitor behavior to assess potential impacts on the company’s financial strategy.
  • Conducting investment appraisals and feasibility studies to help prioritize investment opportunities,
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies throughout all financial operations.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • professional certifications such as CIMA, CA, ACCA, or CPA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Knowledge of Power BI.



Priority will be given to candidates with strong advanced Excel skills, proficiency in Power BI, SAP/Oracle experience, and industry experience in F&B or FMCG.
