Key Responsibilities:
▪ Lead a team of procurement managers and specialists, handling personnel development, KPI management, and succession planning.
▪ Develop and implement multi-year category strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring additional value for the organization.
▪ Oversee the procurement process, including supplier management, market analysis, and sourcing of large value orders.
▪ Present category strategies and individual sourcing strategies to the Tender Committee or leadership when requested.
▪ Monitor global supplier markets, plan material and service availability, and conduct market assessments and benchmarking.
▪ Manage key supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and handle escalations.
▪ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
▪ Lead contract negotiations, secure cost-effective sourcing, and manage contracts across procurement categories.
Skills
Minimum Requirements:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
▪ Accredited Procurement/Supply Chain certification is preferred.
▪ 8+ years of experience in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, with at least 5 years in a multinational company.
▪ Proficiency in Oracle Fusion, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS-Visio.
▪ Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
▪ Strong knowledge of procurement laws, supplier management techniques, market trends, and pricing practices.
