You will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of reports within ERP echo systems as part of ERP Transformation project. Work with various departments/teams to understand the reporting requirements and ensure these are addressed in ERP project with the required standards and data quality, integrity and security across the systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Contribute to ERP (Oracle/SAP) implementation strategy, by implementing and maintaining new reporting models to achieve compliance with new standard ERP reporting frameworks.
- Contribute to the finance digitization activity with respect to reporting to be completed in time and the process to account for industry best practices.
- Contribute to maintain reporting catalogue for the reports delivered from ERP project by collecting, creating and maintaining list of reports with their purpose, frequency of utilization and relevance to the users to ensure a proper utilization of the new standard reporting frameworks.
- Document all reporting requirements comprehensively, ensuring clarity and specificity to guide implementation and development efforts as part of ERP project.
- Analyze existing reporting processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in the new ERP system.
- Understand the capabilities of the new ERP system and align reporting requirements accordingly, ensuring that they can be met within the system's framework.
- Drive business transformation, define a new way of working and lead change initiatives to achieve business optimization and cost/revenue optimization.
- Contribute to the development of reports in the new ERP to streamline processes by analyzing existing reporting requirements and comparing these with the standard new ERP available reports.
- Analyze existing use of legacy reporting platforms to plan for migration to new reporting platforms.
- Cleanse and validate data to avoid reporting errors in the new ERP.
- Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure that reporting functionalities are implemented correctly and meet stakeholders' needs.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
Qualifications
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum of 4 years of experience in ERP Functional / financial reporting (Oracle/SAP) experience.
- Proven experience in influencing and collaborating with senior leadership
Preferred
- Experience with reporting tools and technologies.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA & CMA)
- Industry specific regulations, compliance requirements or standards relevant to ERP transformation
- Experience in working with multiple external partners
Job Specific Skills:
Essential
- Strong understanding of ERP reports and best practices
- Strong understanding and exposure to ERP systems and enterprise solutions
- Ability to analyse complex data and requirements to derive clear and actionable reporting specifications
- Command of English language, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise and compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Project Management methods/tools with ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and obstacles related to reporting requirements and implementation
- Sensitivity and awareness of organisational culture dynamics with experience in fostering inclusivity and navigating cultural nuances in communication and change initiatives
Preferred
- Expertise in software delivery best practice
- Proven track record of successfully leading reporting stream in ERP Transformation project in a complex organizational environment
