RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Application of compliance and measurement tools at construction operations to monitor, record and verify regulatory and other obligations, safe work methodologies and processes that are implemented and effective Maintenance of the Business Management System in accordance with company requirements
- Ensure that accreditations in accordance with ISO 45001, achievement of the Quality Management implemented for each operating site
- Measure crew safety performance and awareness of behavioral safety and mental health expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits and report improvement opportunities to the Business Line Manager and assist them with the implementation
- Coach and mentor construction management and employees to understand and implement zero harm management strategies consistent with the assigned contractual needs and in accordance with HSEQ Management Systems
- Maintain and continue to develop the matrix of permitted operations
- Facilitate Hazop, SIMOPS, Hazid and SWIFT analysis and assessments with Clients and stakeholders
- Guide management representatives who hold assigned responsibility for inspections of workplaces, approval of work method statements, issuing work permits, high-risk work process documentation, etc. to ensure fit for-purpose operational conditions are determined and in place and that work is adequately supervised
- Assisit in safety case Development, approvals and communication with authorities
- Monitor and maintain safety awareness among the site, office and project personnel Conduct safety awareness training for site personnel
- Undertake verification of competency assurance for operational activities which have an element of HSEQ criticality
- Ensure the health and safety of all employees and the protection of the environment for all sites/work premises under their control. Classification: Internal
- Develop project-required documentation and facilitated their implementation (Bridging Documents, ERP, HSE Plans, JSAs).
- Maintain Client(s) contractual reporting tools
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCES/SKILLS : Education & Professional Qualification: Required - Bachelor degree in Health and Safety or - Bachelor degree (any field), and NEBOSH IGC or Diploma. Preferred - Auditor qualification (preferred Lead Auditor) for ISO standards is preferred - Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis certification is preferred - Training and Assessment qualification at Level 4 or higher is preferred - First Aid certification is preferred Professional Experience: 5 to 10 years experience in HSEQ role in field related to Offshore Construction and Maintenance Geographic Experience: N/A Computer Skills: Fully conversant with MS Office and web applications. Language Skills:
- Business Fluent in English – both written and spoken is required
- Arabic a plus Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:
- High degree of understanding of offshore construction and maintenance operations
- Significant knowledge of following standards: ISO 9001 ISO 14001 ISO 45001 IADC, API and Behavioural safety Mentoring Safety Cases Classification: Internal
