About the role
Within Global Sales and Business Travel, we have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to enhance our interaction with B2B partners. As part of this journey, we are recruiting for the role of Business Insights Manager.
Based in our Head office Doha, Qatar, you will provide business insights to shape tactical and strategic decision making aimed at achieving the global channel commercial strategic priorities, network Revenue Budget and targets. Track performance and detect revenue generating opportunities for global channels, segments and agents across different Points of Sales, routes, segments and traffic flows with the goal of delivering and steering the Network Revenue Strategy.
Other key strategic & operational duties would include:
· Work with account managers and channel managers grow QR revenue across channels and segments in accordance with the set commercial strategic priorities.
· Develop customer facing external and internal reports and insights that aid account managers in global sales have focused discussions that are aimed at maximizing revenue opportunities.
· Communicate effectively with the Global sales leadership and channel managers on network and channel revenue performance versus the annual budget and targets. Propose both proactive and reactive adjustments to the Revenue Strategy by channel and global partner set for the financial year.
· Identify large-scale industry trends as well as new business opportunities and assess fit within QR’s business model and strategic direction.
· Drive analysis to guide decision making on tactical/strategic actions. Proactively and reactively identify revenue generation opportunities.
· Communicate effectively between CBI and commercial teams to increase process efficiency.
· Structure and execute larger scale commercial projects, working with channel managers and large sets of stakeholders including other departments like Revenue Management, Central CBI and Regional CBI teams Prioritize all tasks through a big & fast matrix and allocate accordingly to analysts.
· Analyze, measure and document performance of all globally implemented tactical and/or strategic actions/campaigns and advise the global sales leadership accordingly.
· Engage in discussions with other managers of the team on how to better optimize and streamline the identification of business opportunities to achieve the revenue budget.
· Identify potential data challenges that the front-end users could face and liaise with the back-end data team to overcome them with the goal of keeping the analytical power of the team robust.
· Lead the department in taking a creative approach to problem solving.

Qualifications
About You
· We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Business Travel Team in Global Sales.
· Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.
· 6+ years of experience of experience with data analysis & deriving insights from data and submitting actionable recommendations to management.
· Work experience in managing (processing and analysing) voluminous data.
· Experience is setting in preparing and giving presentation on business performance to middle and senior management.
· Experience working with financial and other data.
· Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI.
