Job Descriptions & Key Competencies

Sound Knowledge of LV, MV, HV Electric Motor
Electric Motor Overhauling (LV, MV, HV): Experience in disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling electric motors, Motor Coolers, particularly low, medium, and high voltage motors.
Bearing Replacement: Expertise in removing and replacing motor bearings, including proper handling techniques and tools for different bearing types.
Shaft Alignment and Balancing: Experience in aligning motor shafts and balancing rotors to ensure smooth operation post-repair.
Fault Diagnosis: Ability to identify motor failures (e.g., bearing failures, winding faults, insulation issues) and suggest appropriate repair solutions.
Understanding of Motor Components: Familiarity with motor parts such as stators, rotors, shafts, end shields, fans, and cooling systems.
Use of Specialized Tools: Experience with tools like bearing pullers, hydraulic presses, dynamic balancing machines, and laser alignment systems.
Safety Protocols: Strong understanding of safety practices related to handling heavy machinery and electrical equipment.
Should have the capabilities to complete the given target on time.

Key Competencies

Overhauling, Repair & Maintenance Skills: Strong technical expertise in electric motor disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly processes.
Motor Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electric motors, including types (synchronous, asynchronous, etc.), components, and their functions.
Proficiency in using mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.
Reporting: Ability to document findings, maintenance logs, and repair reports clearly and concisely.
Should be ready to take the responsibility at site for his related field.
