Manager Direct Partnerships

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for positioning QR.com as the customer’s preferred booking channel, ensure long-term growth of the online direct channel, follow up on key online developments and innovations in the industry. You will also be responsible to research, identify and implement new partnerships with businesses within and outside the airline industry in order to provide exclusive benefits for digital direct bookers and serve as the bridge between digital marketing and product team activities, ensuring seamless integration to ensure optimization of the customer journey from initial interest to purchase and beyond.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

  • Identify and secure strategic digital partnerships that align with the company’s business strategy to achieve business goals.
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies to enhance airline’s digital presence and customer engagement across various channels (e.g., website, mobile apps, social media, etc.).
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for partnerships that drive innovation and revenue growth.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms and long-term benefits for the airline.
  • Develop and manage the budget for digital partnership initiatives, ensuring that all partnerships are cost effective and deliver a strong ROI.
  • Monitor and measure the performance of partnerships, using key metrics (e.g., engagement, conversion, revenue) to assess success and identify areas for optimization.
  • Establish and regularly evaluate the teams’ objectives, priorities, plans, procedures and practices to align with and support business objectives as well as train and develop teams to ensure that succession planning is in place.

    Qualifications

    About you

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of job-related experience
    • In depth understanding of airline sales marketing and distribution mechanisms
    • Expert understanding of digital marketing techniques and advanced marketing technologies
    • Experience in corporate business acquisition, partnership and loyalty marketing knowledge
    • Excellent spoken and written English skills with strong negotiation, persuasion and influencing capabilities
    • Ability to work with cross- functional and multi-cultural teams at all levels in a faced- paced working environment
    • Data driven with strong quantitative and analytical skills
    • Experience and ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow with strong mentoring and coaching skills.
