Reverse Osmosis (RO) Specialist

To analyze and monitor the RO plant equipment in accordance with the standard operating procedures and plant performance data. Responsible for all RO plant operation and maintenance. To review periodical reports (Normalization chart, Daily Reports) and submit them to Operation Manager.

Day-to-day Operations And Maintenance

  • Review all RO plants normalization charts every day and monitor the key parameters to maintain the RO/UF membrane efficiency within acceptable limits.
  • Review all RO Plants chemical consumption every day and maintain the chemical cost as per KPI.
  • Review weekly water analysis reports for all RO plants and co-ordinate with chemical treatment specialist for the water quality related issues.
  • Responsible for all RO plants production, needs to re-store any capacity shortfall within acceptable time frame.
  • Attend the meeting with customers, clients, contractors of the assigned plant as and when necessary.
  • Support District cooling plant operation and maintenance activities whenever it is required.
  • Operate and monitor the performance of Ultrafiltration & Reverse Osmosis Plant to produce optimum quality of permeate water as per the design / requirement. Maintain the feed water availability for running RO plant along with the RO product / permeate tanks capacity to accommodate the product & production shall be pre-planned as per the requirement.
  • Maintain and operate the treatment plant systems with required chemical treatment process. Conduct chemical analysis using portable meter for cross verification of installed chemical dosing controllers.
  • Ensure and keep record for the adequate supply of chemicals, consumables and spares related to all RO plant. Coordinate with third party (or) approved chemical treatment vendor for periodical analysis & chemical dosing rate adjustments.
  • Ensure appropriate usage and storage of water treatment chemicals at site by following appropriate HSE requirements.
  • Responsible for RO plant related tender scope of works, tender evaluation and preparing technical evaluation report.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma in chemistry, bachelor’s degree in chemistry / biotechnology.
  • Master’s degree in chemistry / biotechnology is preferred.

Minimum Experience

  • 7 years of experience in TSE RO plant Operation & Maintenance activities from GCC.
  • Hands-on experience of TSE RO plant operations & maintenance with adequate knowledge of chemical water treatment process.
