Job title: RP QC Material Controller
Assignment type: Contract
Work location: Oman/Qatar (must be open to relocate to either or both locations, depending on the project need)
Work schedule: Residential, 5 days per week
Start date: 01-OCT-2024 or ASAP
Estimated end date: 30-SEP-2026 (with possibility to extend)
Accountabilities
- To implement the Major Project Quality Management System at Project level.
- To implement the Company Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes.
- To witness materials and equipment's receiving inspection performed by Contractor.
- To endure that preservation requirements are implemented by Contractor from receiving inspection till material equipment's erection / installation into the plant.
- To ensure PIM inspection.
- To verify material certificate and Vendor Data book compliance.
- Whilst having a direct hierarchical link with RP QC Superintendent, the RP QC Material Controller will be integrated into EPCIC12 Package. Therefore, the RP QC Material Controller will also report to EPCIC12 Construction Team on a day-to-day basis and will work closely with the EPCIC12 Procurement Engineer and the different Engineering Specialists as required.
- The RP QC Material Controller is responsible for quality control activities linked to material, equipment, traceability, welding, testing and dimensional control.

- The position is based in OMAN at EPCIC12 Contractor yard premise.
- Possibility of multiple worldwide missions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor / Diploma level formal education in Engineering discipline.
- Preferably Certified in Welding Inspection and NDT Methods
- Professional Experience (number of years) : 15.
- Experience within project: (number of years) : 10.
- Similar experience is required on construction of Offshore platform topsides, Jackets, Bridges, structure, piping, pressure vessels, electrical equipment, rotating machines and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as EN, ISO, API, ASME, IEC and ASTM.
- Experience on construction yard is mandatory.
- A good knowledge International codes/standards related to design, fabrication, and inspection.
- Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
- Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications.
