Senior Electrical Draftsman

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive support to the CAD Lead and Project Delivery Team in daily CAD implementation tasks.
• Develop detailed 2D models and drawings for electrical systems, including base files, cross-sections, and general drawings.
• Collaborate closely with electrical designers and engineers to ensure seamless coordination and integration of electrical systems.
• Review all electrical drawings and deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications, company quality standards, and CAD requirements.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring accurate and timely completion of deliverables.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements in electrical drafting techniques.

Qualifications:

• A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.

Experience & Skills:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical drafting, with at least 5 years in the GCC region.
• Proven experience as an electrical CAD operator with a strong focus on utility networks and electrical systems.
• Experience working on PWA Projects, including local roads or expressway projects, is highly desirable.
• Basic engineering knowledge related to electrical utility networks.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD 2D, with a focus on electrical utility networks.
• Familiarity with ProjectWise is an advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
