Job Title: Substation Automation Engineer

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Implementation: Develop and implement automation solutions for substations, including control systems, monitoring systems, and communication networks.
• System Integration: Integrate substation automation systems with existing infrastructure to ensure seamless operation and data flow.
• Configuration & Programming: Configure and program automation hardware and software, including RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices), and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
• Testing & Validation: Perform thorough testing and validation of automation systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for automation systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of system designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with client requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-10 years of experience in substation automation or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in substation automation protocols (e.g., IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus).
• Experience with SCADA and DCS systems.
• Knowledge of electrical power systems and control technologies.
• Familiarity with Siemens SICAM Software tool
