  • Evaluate the design and implementation of logical and physical access controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability and authorized use of IT assets. Plan specific audits to ensure that IT and business systems are protected and controlled. Evaluates performance of all software / application and other IT infrastructure assets, recommends updates/amendments to obtain the best possible support from these systems.

  • Periodic Review of IT policy and procedures / guidelines as a sole governance reference for IT, securing the management approval for the policy/procedure/guideline to be widely implemented in corporate level.

  • Establish service-level management practices to ensure that the level of service from internal and external service providers is defined and managed.

  • Evaluate IT resource investment, planning/budgeting, use, and allocation practices to ensure alignment with the organization's strategies and objectives. Initiates development of new systems to suit user's requirements which are cost-effective in collaboration with Senior Manager.

  • Evaluate IT spending and control the expenses to gain maximum benefits of service which are deployed by IT .Review all the recurring expenses and propose the feasible cost reduction plans with appropriate justifications.

  • Defining the technical evaluation criteria, arranging the technical evaluation reports and shortlisting technically accepted bidders during the IT asset procurement cycle.

  • Ensure reliability and effectiveness of connectivity between the Central Data Center and Group remote sites. Ensure reliability of Production, Test and Development environment of the Servers. Supervise and coordinate the implementation of hardware and networking, to meet with stated Business Requirements.

  • Evaluate the adequacy of backup and restore provisions to ensure the availability of information required to resume processing.

  • Oversee the operation of the help desk for all Hardware, Software, and Network related problems and maintenance of WAN & LAN across all units and delivery channels.

  • Identify required up-gradation, enhancements, and replacements required for Hardware and Networking based on periodic review and user feedback.

  • Disaster Recovery Plan formation within the BCM in line with the corporate strategy.

  • Develop and maintains department objectives and provides appropriate career building and professional development activities to ensure a climate of growth for all employee in the department.

  • Knowledge in Application and Database Administration, Network Administration, SAP Basis, etc.

  • Experiences on different domains of IT (Database, Systems, Security, Network, Helpdesk, etc).
