Job Summary:
The FMCG Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that products are displayed in retail stores in an attractive and effective manner to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. This role involves working closely with store managers, suppliers, and the sales team to maintain optimal inventory levels, implement promotional activities, and gather market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that products are displayed prominently and according to company guidelines and planograms.
2. Maintain and replenish product inventory on shelves and in display units.
3. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the sales team to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
4. Implement promotional activities and ensure promotional materials are correctly placed and updated.
5. Collaborate with marketing teams to set up in-store displays and execute campaigns.
6. Educate store staff about ongoing promotions and new product launches.
7. Gather and report on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
8. Provide regular feedback to the sales team and management on product performance and market conditions.
9. Complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
10. Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff.
11. Address any issues or concerns raised by customers or store personnel promptly and effectively.
12. Assist in training store staff on product knowledge and merchandising standards
13. Ensure all products are priced accurately and comply with company policies and industry regulations.
14. Maintain a clean and organized display area that aligns with health and safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 2 years Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or FMCG sales.
Qatar Driving licence and car is a must
