We are hiring a Customer Service Officer for our Qatar branch
Summary:
The customer service officer provides a valuable connection between our customers and our policies. They handle all customer queries and complaints. They provide prospective customers with detailed information about company products, and issue policies as per authorities. Also, upsell and cross sell our products making sure to meet their target.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere by the established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Assist walk in clients and provide them with necessary support
- Handle professionally incoming requests from clients, and ensures that enquiries are resolved both promptly and thoroughly
- Discuss with clients on telephone or assist them in person in providing information on the company’s products and services
- Record, on CRM model, all activities with clients with details of inquiries or complaints and action steps that were taken
- Verify and understand policy cover, excesses, conditions, endorsements and warranties and apply the policy wording to common types of losses
- Assist clients in filling of policy documents and contacts
- Ensure the right amount of information to Prospects easing their buying decisions
- Assist claimants in urgent cases and provide the needed support to resolve the urgent case promptly
- Analyze problems and offer the necessary options and solutions, and escalate to the concerned Manager/department whenever needed to ensure prompt resolving of issues
- Follow up with claimants if their complaints where resolved
- Assist in soliciting sales of new products and policies and guide the clients to the concerned account executive for potential business
- Drive upselling and cross-selling of policies with the goal to increase profit and differentiate product revenues
- Coordinate with the Technical departments to offer information about price quotes to prospective clients
- Issue quotations and policies for walk in clients for all Arabia Retail bouquet
- Build and maintain strong clientele relationships
- Handle renewals of the existing retail clients generated from the direct channel
- Contribute with new ideas to support the improvement of the overall customer experience and share future buying trends with Channel Sales Manager
- Maintain a clean database following the standardized procedures for all paperwork
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Insurance industry out of which 2 years in Customer Service or Sales. Previous experience in Underwriting is a plus.
- Good comprehension of all lines of business – Medical / Motor & P&C
- Bachelor Degree in Insurance Studies or related field
- CII is a plus
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Good Communication Skills
