Job Summary

The Senior BI & Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, creation, and maintenance of reports and dashboards that effectively communicate data insights to the business. This role involves gathering and integrating data from various sources, performing data analysis, designing visualizations, and assisting with performance optimization, working closely with business users to ensure that the information provided is actionable and meets their needs.

Key Accountabilities

• Data Gathering and Integration: Collect and integrate data from multiple sources to ensure comprehensive analysis and accurate reporting.
• Data Analysis: Query and manipulate data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions and regulatory compliance.
• Report and Dashboard Development: Design and develop visualizations and dashboards that present data in an understandable and actionable format.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders and regulatory bodies to understand their requirements and ensure that data solutions align with business objectives and compliance standards.
• Regulatory Reporting: Ensure that all reports and data submissions to regulatory bodies are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and reports.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, methodologies, and processes used in report generation.
• Ad-hoc Reporting: Respond to ad-hoc requests for data analysis and reporting from regulators and internal stakeholders.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

• Data analysis Tools: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle
• BI Tools: Power BI, SSRS, Cognos and related BI tools
• Python for automation
